About Us – Carnivore Movement

Hi, I’m Casey Monroe, the home cook, wellness researcher, and founder of Carnivore Movement. I created this website to make the carnivore lifestyle feel just as comforting, satisfying, and approachable as the meals you already love. You deserve food that supports your strength, energy, and health — without stress, restriction, or complicated rules.

About Us – Carnivore Movement Carnivore Movement

I didn’t grow up in a professional kitchen. I learned to cook by watching my family and experimenting on my own, discovering that even the simplest meals can become deeply nourishing when made with intention. Over time, I realized that meat-based cooking wasn’t about extremes — it was about clarity, simplicity, and feeling truly satisfied after eating. That personal shift changed my life, and it’s the reason Carnivore Movement exists today.

How This All Began

For years, I believed eating healthier meant giving up comfort and familiarity. Strict diets felt unsustainable, and focusing only on calories left me disconnected from my body rather than in tune with it. When I finally began simplifying my food choices and prioritizing nutrient-dense, animal-based meals, everything started to change.

I spent time studying how food affects satiety, digestion, metabolism, and energy. I rebuilt familiar dishes using quality cuts of meat, animal fats, and traditional cooking methods. I began sharing what I was learning and quickly realized that many others were searching for the same balance — feeling strong, nourished, and satisfied without overthinking every bite.

That’s when Carnivore Movement truly came to life.

Meet the Carnivore Movement Team

Jake Hollander – Recipe Developer

About Us – Carnivore Movement Jake Hollander

Jake is a comfort-food creator with deep Southern roots. Growing up in Charlotte, he spent weekends in his grandmother’s kitchen, learning firsthand how food brings people together. Over time, he found joy in experimenting with flavors, techniques, and cuts of meat, slowly developing his own carnivore-inspired cooking style.

At Carnivore Movement, Jake creates recipes that feel familiar while fully embracing a meat-based way of eating. He enjoys reworking classic comfort dishes into bold, satisfying carnivore meals, often adding subtle global influences that elevate simple ingredients. Jake believes progress matters more than perfection, and every meal is an opportunity to learn, adapt, and enjoy the process.

Inspired by the garden outside her Knoxville kitchen and the generational recipes passed down through her family, she creates meals that feel deeply nourishing and personal. Her cooking reflects Southern comfort while staying aligned with a simple, meat-focused lifestyle.

Marla specializes in hearty dishes that satisfy without complication, using traditional methods that help people feel confident in the kitchen. She believes carnivore food should still feel like a treat, and she brings that care and encouragement into every recipe she shares. Her goal is to help readers feel supported, capable, and excited to cook meals they can truly enjoy.

What You’ll Find Here

Every recipe on Carnivore Movement is developed and tested in a real kitchen, with real schedules and real-life constraints. The dishes are designed to support strength, energy, and metabolic health while still delivering the comfort and satisfaction you expect from a good meal.

Cooking shouldn’t feel stressful or restrictive. Here, simplicity stays at the center, and flavor always stays on the plate. My aim is that every recipe builds confidence, encourages consistency, and proves that a carnivore lifestyle can be deeply enjoyable and sustainable.

Why “Carnivore Movement”

The name represents more than a way of eating. “Carnivore” reflects a return to nutrient-dense, animal-based foods, while “Movement” speaks to progress, momentum, and long-term change. Together, they define an approach that isn’t about quick fixes or rigid rules — but about building strength and clarity through simple, intentional habits.

This is not about perfection. It’s about showing up, learning, and moving forward one meal at a time.
